How it works
Our module will create a specialized Quickbooks formatted file from Sugar for easy importing into Quickbooks. Here’s how it works:
- A new button titled “Export to QB” is added to the SugarCRM “Quotes” module.
- When the button is pressed, a download window pops up with a Quickbooks file with the same name as the quote.
- A file specially formatted for Quickbooks downloads to your desktop for one-click import into Quickbooks.
It is important to note that this tool is not a real-time integration, but instead is an export/import tool.

Export Notes
- If the customer exists in Quickbooks, the invoice will be added to the existing customer.
- If the customer exists but has been updated in Sugar, the customer will be updated and the invoice will be added to the existing customer.
- If the customer does not exist, the customer will be added and the invoice will be created.
- If a product in your SugarCRM catalogue doesn’t exist in Quickbooks, it will be added

System Requirements
- SugarCRM 6.0-6.3 Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate (CE not supported)
- MySQL 5.x
- Access to the SugarCRM module loader
- Quickbooks 2009-2012 Professional, Enterprise, desktop edition
- Tax codes must be configured in Quickbooks
- Quickbooks users must have administrator access to perform the .iff file import
